Job Description The Officer Learning & Development (Ground Services) will be responsible for delivering training programmes to support the Ground Services department in accordance with an agreed training plan in order to improve the quality and standards of staff performance for Qatar Airways Group/GSA. He/she will adhere to the syllabus of the different programmes, refresh and update staff on existing and new QR procedures/policies (when applicable) and develop, promote and administer QR safety, security and education programs. He/she will ensure that skills are upgraded to meet job requirements and enhance work related performance and professional skill by delivering courses enthusiastically, encouraging participation and engaging the audience. With good time management skills, the incumbent will deliver the programmes that meet current company and regulatory body standards, in a cost effective manner. The Officer Learning & Development will be acting as an ambassador for the training department, forging and maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers. Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree from a recognized University and an IATA accreditation in training will be an advantage. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of operational experience in the Aviation industry in a similar environment. Experience in instructing Weight & Balance licensing will be considered favourably. He/she should possess a good understanding of customer service issues, of equal employment opportunity of custom and practices. He/she should have well developed interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to speak Arabic would be an additional advantage.
